What does your birth order show about you? ;) Only-Borns Positives: Only-borns are the mega-movers of the world. They are task-oriented; tend to be extremely well organized, very conscientious, and ultimately dependable. They love facts, ideas, and details, and feel extremely comfortable with responsibility. Negatives: Only-born negatives can be tough to handle, martially speaking. They are often unforgiving, very demanding, hate to admit they're wrong, and usually don't accept criticism well. To others, they seem very sensitive and, indeed, their feelings are easily hurt. ... First-Borns Positives: They are natural leaders. They represent United States presidents, astronauts, and CEOs by overwhelming numbers. They frequently live with a sense of entitlement and even superiority. They often come in two flavors: compliant nurturers/caregivers or aggressive movers and shakers. Both are in control; they just use different methods. As a rule, first-borns are picky, precise people -they love paying attention to details -and they tend to be punctual, organized, and competent. They want to see things done right the first time. They don't like surprises. Negatives: They are often moody and occasionally lack sensitivity. They can be intimidating, particularly by pushing people too hard or refusing to take no for an answer. Sometimes they can be a bit of "know-it-all," and often are poor delegators, in large part because they don't trust other people as much as they trust themselves. They also tend to be bossy, flaw pickers, and conscientious to a fault. ... Middle-Borns Positives: The classic middle-born is very relational, tends to be a people-pleaser and usually hates confrontation. Their basic need is to keep the oceans of life smooth, and their motto might be 'Peace at any price.' They are usually very calm, will roll with the punches, and are amiable, down-to-earth, and great listeners. They are skilled at seeing both sides of a problem and eager to make everybody happy. That makes them good mediators and negotiators. Negatives: They tend to be less driven than first-borns, but are much more desirous of having everybody like them -- or at least happy with them. They have a difficult time setting boundaries. They can drift into becoming 'codependents' as they try to please everybody. They are not good at making decisions that will offend others. They also tend to blame themselves when others fail. ... Last-Borns Positives: You're probably one of the world's cheerleaders. You have strong people skills and love to entertain and talk to others. You're the type of person who never met a stranger; you can immediately make others feel at home. You're an extrovert, energized by the presence of other people, and you're probably not afraid to take a risk now and then. Negatives: They tend to get bored rather quickly. They have a strong fear of rejection and a short attention span. When the fun stops, they want to check out. They're somewhat self-centered. They may doom more relationships due to their unrealistic expectations of finding a relationship that is always marked by fun and of course, such relationships simply don't exist for long. ... I'm not too convinced that this thing's actually true. I'm a middle-child but somehow....it sounds /nothing/ like me. 'cept for the peacemaker/mediator part, perhaps. ;) The last-child one sounds like me though....er....*runs away* :p (0 Comments) Thursday, October 10, 2002

Naked. I wake up in the morning Put on my face The one that's gonna get me Through another day Doesn't really matter How I feel inside 'Cause life is like a game sometimes But then you came around me The walls just disappeared Nothing to surround me And keep me from my fears I'm unprotected See how I've opened up Oh, you've made me trust (0 Comments) Friday, October 04, 2002

To be or not to be? That is the question. LOL yes I know that's a lame heading :p But it's apt! Kinda suits how I'm err feeling now. Abit of a dilemma, really. Okay, I need to ask you people for your opinions. *clears throat loudly and looks around* Mmm this is like. Abit of a poll thing. Hah :b If you all can be bothered to respond, just drop a word by in the comment box, or tell me straight over icq, or irc, or wherever else you can catch me. 1. Should I try out for the UWC scholarship? According to some teachers, the system there and overseas would probably suit me better. (I've no idea what that implies but blah) but you see, you have to write this essay-thing, and I'm kinda feeling too lazy...and I'm absolutely clueless regarding how to fill in the scholarship application :x Plus I'm applying for Humanities scholarship already...I don't know :( I know no harm trying, but mmm. 2. Should I enter New Face Contest next year?=p Okay this sounds totally out of the world I know :P Well you see....it all started when I realized that I actually qualified for all the min. requirements (like for height, age etc, not sure about looks :P) so like. Dunno, people started bugging me to join, and volunteering their *coughsupportcough*. I'm still considering it. I have one more year to think about it. Well the big problem about both is that...well..if I try for something, my hopes'd be raised you know. And if I fail to get it...I'll be really disappointed I guess :( And no idea as regards to what I really want hmm. HOW?!?!?! Sigh. Thanks people. Heh. (0 Comments) Thursday, October 03, 2002

-there's a song that's inside of my soul- heh. Recognize that line? Nice song *nods self* Mmmm. Nothing much happened. Oh well, RJ here I come. Can't wait for open house day! heh :b At least our principal's kind enough to give us half day on that day to attend all the open houses I guess :D I'm sooooo bored nowadays. Hmmph. I've realized something about myself, I hate being kept waiting, so I keep others waiting for me all the time (sounds familiar?). I know, it's darn hypocritical of me to do that, but it's precisely because I hate waiting for others that's why I'm always late. Um. I need a better solution to this problem, 'cuz I'm sick and tired of being known as constantly late, and I'm sure you people are sick and tired of always having to wait for me too *blink* oh well. We'll see. Blah. *Reminds self about "Do unto others what you want others to do unto thyself." or something like that* :b Mmmmph. Okay, this is odd. -stretch- I'm so bored nowadays. Time, on one hand, seems to be plodding along slowly, 'cuz I have nothing to do. Yet while viewing it from another perspective, it seems to be zooming off in top speed, like suddenly its nearing 7pm now again! Another day almost gone! Hm. SO WEIRD. Oh well. Enough of crapping for now I think. *looks around for dinner* "The human heart, at whatever age, opens only to the heart that opens in return." (0 Comments) Wednesday, October 02, 2002
