On turning nineteen.

Nineteen's such an obscure, nondescript age to be at - wedged between the joys of being eighteen and the horrors of hitting the BIG two of twenty - at nineteen, nothing much really happens, it's not like you're finally hitting the legal age for doing anything, nor does it hold any particularly significant implications for you. It's just another year, another step towards growing older and older and older.

Nevertheless, I've had lots of fun on friday and saturday. Jo, pepper and rachel are such darlings with the (very yummy) chocolate mousse cake and cookie, both cutely shaped into little hearts! Not to mention the pretty bangles they bought for me too, and all that (unsuccessful) efforts they went to trying to plant the stuff on my desk before I arrived so as to give me a surprise. Unfortunately, I caught them in the act just as I stepped out of the lift to office! Caught in the act! :P

Saturday didn't really turn out as what I expected to be, but still, lots of fun! I must've driven ziyi crazy with all that walking around and shopping and stuff in the afternoon too. Not to mention the falling-off-the-chair at URS & inc part! That was highly embarrassing, not to mention hilarious. Mmph. And there was sitting around on the Esplanade just talking and slacking with the girls, and that nasty gust of wind that made my skirt almost fly up, and everything...with the clear, moonless sky above us, and the pretty lights of the Esplanade suffusing everything in a soft glow. Everything was so perfect and nice!

Lastly, KISS ME I'M A FAIRY! :) (grin)
