Crazy Fridays are starting to be a trend here with us!
This week's worth of craziness was spent at Clarke Quay first - Hooters, the land of hideous orange shorts where the girls are sadly not half as hot as I'd envisioned them to be - then, Union Square to ogle at our resident salsa king and his very talented friends. Of course, it didn't hurt that Friday nights are ladies' nights at Union, so there was literally a freeflow of drinks for the girls...
at hooters - this picture tickles me quite
looking very short between lloyd and jianfeng
buaya lance at work (you can't blame me for being so irresistible!)
trainrides are boring
At Union Square, michael also slightly overdid the ordering of alcohol - macallans, black labels, housepours, no idea what else...and there was the lethal twin tower (strength of 4 flaming lambos) that jianfeng gamely took on as well. I was the bartender of the night, mixing all the drinks for them - and no, I didn't spill a drop. (Okay, maybe I did, but not too many drops.)
hello there sir, would you like some macallan?
bottle after bottle of liquor...
led to this:
Things got alot worse, but thankfully, everything (and everyone) was still under control. Michael managed to shoot some incriminating videos again though I was strictly uninvolved as a rule this time, since I'd learnt my lesson from the week before and decided to abstain from alcohol, like the angel I am. :)
salsa king with his white hat - I LIKE! (the hat, not him)

eileen looks sooooooo pretty here
very unsuccessful picture, I look so distracted!

on the way home...
This is just a shortened (and censored) version of what happened that night, really. There are way too many pictures for me to upload them all, and I don't have the group photo in my camera!
Ooh, as a sidenote - it was nice bumping into jack on the bus too on Friday. I haven't seen nor heard from him for ages and ages. This really makes me wonder how many friends I've lost contact with simply because I don't try hard enough to maintain the friendship. Like I repeatedly tell sheila, I think I'm such a horrible friend at times. :( *kicks self*
My Saturday started off in a somewhat uneventful manner - after barely 5 hours of sleep, lex kicked me out of bed (not literally) to rearrange our BGS meeting at michelle's house. The project meeting was not exactly a success, since most of us were highly sleep-deprived and/or hungover from the previous night. The guys spent half the time dozing off on the bed/floor/various places in the room.
That was followed by dinner at Boon Tong Kee, then mahjong at lex's house! I didn't really play much though, only playing a little here and there for lex and shan'er, because I was too absorbed in his cats and piano. Alex's house is utterly gorgeous - tastefully furnished and well-maintained despite having four cats. I spent the better half of the night ooh-ing and aah-ing over flea (a persian) and fluffy (a ragdoll), they were such irresistibly cute creatures!
fat frisky flea and me!
lex's crazy alcohol collection
Kudos to lex for being such a fantastic host too. He kept all of us so well-fed, with haagen daz icecream, champagne mooncakes (yum!) and normal mooncakes, home-made apple chips, drinks, red wine...at the end of the night I felt vaguely like a very fat and contented persian cat. No wonder all his cats are so well-groomed and pretty.
(Pictures of Saturday are courtesy of michelle, because I stupidly left my camera at home. :/)
Sunday - now, that would be today, wouldn't it? Am currently waiting for chiew and co to decide where and when we should meet to eat then prepare, because Rouge is beckoning tonight, baby.
