Waxing: Lance's new hobby.

For those in SMU who have yet to notice, go examine Lance's legs to see what smooth, hairless legs he has now! His legs are so drooliciously lovely they make my eyes bleed with envy - if you're free and interested, you could even request for a chance to run your hands over them, I'm sure he'd happily consent. ;)

It all started with an innocent gathering at Crystal's house on New Years' Eve. A cozy celebration - just the seven of us - luxuriating in each others' company while waiting for 2006 to arrive.

There was the food and the drinks, courtesy of our host, Crystal.

Our aspiring pianist, Tzeyi, who attempted to provide us with some music...

(I also think he needs more music lessons on the piano, but now, that's really besides the point.)

Ah, and no party is complete without a Michelle! (read: the resident housewife who washes up and keeps things neat and orderly :P)

And the traditional "topless picture" of me to be taken whenever I decide to wear a tube out (which is pretty often, really).

The night wasn't particularly exciting nor eventful, but we had our share of fun and laughter anyway. Nothing beats spending quality time with a number of close friends - I'd take that over jostling with an insane crowd on the brink of stampeding at a New Year's countdown party anytime!

We were introduced to Crystal's really crazily full wardrobe, covered with zillions of photos on the outside. I think she has more clothes than me, gasp!

Aww, what a sweet couple photo. ;)

While we were lounging around on the couches, just lazily watching the television and engaging in some idle chat, we suddenly came up with the brilliant idea of waxing Lance's legs. After all, it'll be a shame to leave those fabulously long and shapely legs hidden underneath a forest of hair, right? He was initially quite reluctant, though, afraid that we girls weren't professional enough to give him the flawless, hairless legs that he so desired. So, we borrowed some wax strips from Crystal, and started to get down to the hard work that was laid out ahead of us. Once the first strip was pasted then removed to prove to Lance what a good waxing job awaited him, he was suitably convinced, hooked to the point where there's no looking back...

Michelle & I - hard at work

Lance: "You two better do a good job and don't screw up my wax job! It's very important for my legs to look pretty, okay!"

See the bare patches we'd worked on? Don't his legs look so smooth?

Shan & Crystal: "Oh wow, what smooth, pretty legs you have now, Lance!"

See what I meant by a forest of hair?

Now Lance has officially joined the league of the hairless legged boys! Tzeyi, a prominent member of it himself, leads Lance into the induction ritual: to hit on the nearest guy still in possession of his leg hairs! The (un)fortunate boy turned out to be Weiming, who did look rather delighted with the position he'd landed, if you ask me.

Shan'er & I are just innocent bystanders, I swear! Look at our guileless faces - just brimming with child-like innocence. :D

It's amazing how much influence we've exerted over Lance since school has started - the eyebrows were the first to go, when Crystal brought him to get his eyebrows tweezed and shaped charmingly. Now, it's the legs. What will be next, we wonder...
