Did any of you catch the Gatsby street parades held on Friday and Saturday along Orchard Road? If you were there in town, I'm sure it was impossible to miss 60 girls clad in an outfit made of white PVC, giving out yellow balloons and free men's facial wash samples along the streets.
Just look at us - here's Su-Ann, me, Zoe and my sister - the Gatsby girls!
The job scope sounds pretty slack, huh? Well, it wasn't. It looked deceptively easy, but in reality, was surprisingly tiring! Walking around the entire day in heels and a permanent smile on the face is seriously no joke.
After knocking off on Saturday, we trooped off to Alex's house for dinner and a mini get-together to welcome the new scholars - Debbie, Vincent and Tim. It was also a good opportunity to meet up with the rest of the group and catch up too. And as always, Alex was the perfect host to us.
Look at all the drinks we had! I haven't drank so much in such a looooong time. Shan became the classic lobster again, Michelle got all giggly and crazy, and the boys forced a bit of Bacardi 151 down my throat (it burned all the way down to my tummy!) to follow the 2 kiwi martinis made by Crystal and Michelle, the lychee margarita that Alex whipped up, and a glass of Bailey's. Obviously, I also got somewhat inebriated by the end of the night.
Pictures of all the people who attended!
Yay to Alex for always hosting the best parties. :)
