happy 41st, Singapore.

Happy National Day to all of you - hope you enjoyed your the one-day break from school or work or wherever!

Ooh, and happy (belated) birthdays to Jo and Junren as well. :) 20 is a good age!

Last night was insane but really fun: dinner at Riverside Indonesian Restaurant / moving onto TCC for more food and drinks / bumping into Amanda & Qiyan while trying to decide where to head to next / fruity beer & cheesy fries goodness at Brewerkz (and hello Puisan too!) / wandering around Clarke Quay / brief stopovers at Hooters and Zuma, looking for somewhere that stayed open till late / a skanky visit to Geographer's (Thai disco, he said!) / finally settling for TCC once again to continue our girly banter.

Girls' nights out are the best, really. Our conversations only really started rolling properly after the boys left, so go figure. ;)

For the entire night, I was the only person at the table who isn't currently studying abroad! Talk about being boring. Everyone else is at some fancy school in the UK (especially all you smart Oxforders, bah), back for their summer term, doing useful things like interning at MICA/SPH/SPF/some government institution/a law firm, and here I am, still drifting around aimlessly in my flimsy bubble of a life.

You know, sometimes my lack of drive and direction really worries me - but that's another worry for another day.
