happy halloween - part I.

Bloody Cocco, Bloody Latte: last Saturday's party held at Cocco Latte was a blast! Thanks a bunch Stevie for the fab party - do direct all smiles and kisses in his direction.

After last year's stint as a bunny girl, I decided to go cute and jappy this year instead - as a sailor girl! (More sailormoon-inspired than realsailorish, actually.)

A whole lot of people came to my house to dress up beforehand - Miche, Crystal, Weims, Boons, Rachel, Shan and Lance. We had a hell lot of fun preparing for the party actually, running around doing our makeup, putting the whole costume together, helping each other with our hairstyles/fingernails/fangs/makeup, doing the last minute touches...thank goodness I have so many huge mirrors all over my house, so we didn't have to fight over the mirrors. Some of the girls crashed my room to use the toilet and mirrors or to borrow my makeup and miscellaneous junk; the boys and the rest lounged around in the living room watching television or fixing their own costumes. I think we had more fun dressing up than during the actual party itself, but ah well isn't that almost always the case?

Anyhow, all the girls were uber hawt that night. Rachel was a VAVAVOOM secretary, Michelle a vamp through and through, Crystal the cutest little angel ever, Boons a super sexy Chunli...cheers to all of us! As for the guys, well, Shan was too tired so he came as himself, Weims had a really good chinaman costume, and Lance...that skanky purple-haired schoolgirl. Tsk.

Black & white delight: here are my two darlings from school AND salsa, both so different yet so precious to me. :) Loveloveheartheart.

I liked Weims' costume a lot - that fake chinaman was so hilarious!

Jialing, arguably my favorite dance junior - BUT she didn't dress up. Boo.

My favorite costume of the night, courtesy of Lionel Kong. THE GINGERBREAD MAN IS SO CUTE RIGHT??????

Cocco Latte is reaaalllyyyy small, but quite a decent number of people turned up so the place got rather crowded, to the point of being stifling. Still, I'm glad that Steve's party was a success! The music was pretty good and danceable to, and there were fun poles and podium to dance around and on top of. I got bored of being cutesy and jappy and sailormoonish halfway through, so decided to change into a stringier black outfit in the middle of the party, too. Good thing I had the foresight to bring a change of clothes!

One, two, three - the salsa angels.

Okay...pictures galore as usual!

Suppering at Newton after that.

A cool picture I took on the way home. :)

True to our photowhoring natures, we took way too many pictures in that one night alone, so I won't even bother trying to upload all of them here. If you missed the party, boo to you! But you can still take a good look and start wishing that you'd come along to join us. ;)
