moving rubber launch.

Some pictures from the Gatsby's opening launch of Moving Rubber at Zouk two Fridays before! They hired about 20 girls to walk around as brand ambassadors for Gatsby - some to serve finger food, some to take pictures of the Zouk visitors, and some (like me) to promote the product itself and even style some people's hairstyles if we're up to it! After that we were only required to stand by the side of the stage and clap for the performers that Gatsby hired. What a strange jobscope!

My partner for the night was Su Ann - we giggled the whole night away like silly ditzes and spent lots of time happily whispering to each other about our respective eye candies on stage. There was seriously quite a number! I have no idea where Gatsby managed to find so many good looking male models from in Singapore...not that I'm complaining or anything, of course.

As for the performers and the stylists, they were flown all the way in from Japan. The show was quite impressive, and the performances were superb - BUT the crowd in Zouk was so dead. Hardly anybody was cheering towards the later part, which I thought was a shame...brings back memories of the Nightlife.sg event at St James which we performed for awhile back. Dead crowd. Ick.

Yes well, been working quite a bit - Gatsby, Tiger in the evenings (and also for the NDP Sponsors Day that Rens, Char and her parents attended!) as well as Heineken in the weekends.

If you want some free beer, come down and look for me this weekend! Saturday at Vivo City's Giant Supermarket, Sunday at Takashimaya's Cold Storage - I'll be working with my sister this weekend and we could certainly do with some entertainment. And, no, you didn't read wrongly, we are giving out free Heineken testers to promote the relaunched 5 litre draught keg. Free beer, really! :)

More another day!
