extremely belated crystal post.

Hmm, so Crystal turned 21 more than a month ago (on 9th June) - but a certain blogger has become too lazy and busy to do what she usually does (that is, post photos and blog lots) so she'll make up for it today. In office. What a great post-lunch activity, don't you think?

The party was held at Crystal's house, in the far reaches of the east, with bottles and bottles of great booze and wines lying around...yummy! The theme was, uhm, to quote the (belated) birthday girl: retro/disco/Saturday night fever (to which, Shan said he wanted to go there with a thermometer to add in the fever bit since it was a Saturday night - how lame!). Yes, well - so most of us came dressed for the part - just a matter of to what extent.

I went retro, since it was the easiest outfit to put together! So there I was, feeling mildly silly in a loose off-shoulder black top, white tights I borrowed from my sister, a polka-dotted hair scarf (also courtesy of the sister), white plastic hoop earrings, a white beaded necklace that I converted into a bracelet, and the huge retro sunnies.

Ooh, and you should check out the 21st birthday celebrations for her the night before at Union Square. Presenting to you, Crystal in her blue little princess outfit (that Miche happily bought from Toys"R"Us). It's really cute, isn't it? Except that, well, it was meant for little girls age 2-3 or something along those lines, so everything was superbly puny - especially the fluffy Cinderella slippers that we're holding up in the picture.
