happy weekend birthdays.

Happy birthdays to Gupson and Gloria!

Some kinda of crazy salsa mega birthday celebrations this weekend for the two of them - on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Obviously, I haven't been out dancing for such a long time my follow is rusty, my styling all stiff and unnatural, and my legs have completely lost their stamina to dance more than just a few songs on heels without tiring.

Emceeing at the NSMen Jamboree yesterday at school was....interesting. It was weird seeing so many guys squeezed into one conference hall at the same time - and for most of the event, they looked pretty bored and unimpressed by all the performances put up. I thought that there was too much stress placed on the whole "girls" aspect and "come to SMU you'll get to know many (hot) girls" idea, though. In fact, I was cringing whenever that issue pops up. There was the banner downstairs declaring "NSMen Jamboree" with like a million pictures of random girls from our school on it; E-Mix brought out its all-girls team; parts of the emcee script for Joshua's (my co-emcee) bit; and so on.

Or maybe it's just me being paranoid and overly sensitive about it.

Speaking of overly sensitive...

...on second thoughts, maybe this is not the place to discuss it.
