menage a trois 9:39 am

We came in third in the shines competition held at DXO on Sunday, and yes, we are very pleased with the results. :)

The weekend has been a HUGE whirlwind, the culmination of the past few weeks of rushing practices and all. I've just about danced all my energy away in the practices, Magna's workshops and at the various parties. Magna's dancing has become even more amazing than before and I do love the way she teaches.

Here are the first runners up from Xenbar - Pasion Prohibita. Both them and the champions (the Cubanabes) definitely deserved their titles, especially the champions! Bernard, Barry and Samantha were so awesome that there was no doubt they were going to win the competition. I guess the competition this time round was really pretty strong, with all the impressive teams and routines that were displayed. Too bad I didn't get to watch some of the teams that went before us, though. If anyone has the videos, please pass them over this way!

Thank you to everyone who came down to support us at Shine, be it whether you came to celebrate ADS' anniversary over the weekend or whether you came to bolster our morale for the competition. It was really good seeing all the familiar faces in the crowd that night.

In a way, I'm glad it is all over - I can finally rest properly and not worry over this or that, but somehow I feel a little lost. Crystal and I were sitting at Pick & Bite after class yesterday wondering what to do because we had no more practice, and Miche joined us shortly after. The three of us ended up going to Frujch to sit around and slack in full couch-potato glory.

A post for Saturday's masquerade party coming up...in awhile!
