c'mere, little prawnies 12:40 pm

Yes well, so we've come to the end of the (very fleeting) midterm break.

Photos of our prawning stint on Wednesday are here, thanks to Miche's camera!

Here's where we caught our first prawn. FINALLY. After Miche and Louis already were on their third prawn or so. :(

We eventually managed to catch up though! 18 prawns in total. :) :) ph34r our prawn-catching 5ki||zzzzz.

Angie and Adrian joined us a little later...look at the way she's cradling the prawn - like a little baby! So cute.

Miche the prawn murderess, happily skewering all of the to death. :x

Freshly washed, skewered and murdered prawns. (Thanks Louis and Miche!)

Barbequed little prawnies...warmed over a pink fire.

Hard at work with the cooking.

No more prawns! All landed up in our tummies.

Guess who ate most of the prawns? ;p

It was the virgin prawning experience for most of them (actually, all of them but me!) which probably made it even more fun. This was the first time I actually got the prawns cooked on the spot (no thanks to me) and ate them immediately so they were all really fresh and tasty. Yay to Louis and Mark for doing most of the baiting and unhooking of the prawns, Louis and Miche for washing and cooking them, and....to me for eating them all up so quickly and cleanly. I think I ate more than half of the prawns we caught! Pretty amazing what some butter and salt can do over a fire - yum.
