Moses sent me a link to this video and omg, it's sooooooo cute!



The hamster is like a mini-dog running through obstacles! It's half-inspired me to go start training poor Walnut now that her sister's gone and she probably needs something else to occupy her mind and her time...so I went to watch some of the training how-to videos that this girl posted up. I don't know if I can muster up enough patience to get around to doing it successfully though. :P

I don't know who this girl is but she exemplifies the behaviorist paradigm that we always learn about in psychology - on conditioning and everything, and it's quite funny/cute watching her demonstrate this on what seems like the most unlikeliest pets to train. She's got videos up of her training her hamsters, her guinea pigs, and most amazingly...



...even her GOLDFISH!

I never knew fishes even had that much brains to be trainable, but I guess in the animal kingdom, food makes the world go round (the same way that money makes the world go around for us) so...

If any of you out there always wanted a dog/dolphin/seal/etc to train and do up cool party tricks but due to whatever reasons are unable to keep one (ahem, obvious reasons for the dolphin and seal I guess), no fear! Adopt a hamster today and go for it! :P
